A CLUSTER OF FLOWERS-EXTENDING STAMPS AND DIES

Hello to all !!!
Before I show you what is in there for you, let me take you to the CottageCutz store where our Anniversary sale is going on and you can save upto 50% for just this week only. Isn't that wonderful !!!

Now on to today's project. Have ever thought that how good it would be if your stamp would have been a little more bigger or if you could increase the design size. Well, you can do that and I call it EXTENDING YOUR STAMP.

This is very well featured in this card here where from one stamp , I have build up a cluster of flowers so that it looks that the stamped image is really bigger in size.
Do check it out here.

All the flowers stamp and die combo that can be used to create this sort of card can be found here

Stamp out the images in Versafine onyx black and cut with coordinating die.

Use one of the die cut image as a mask and stamp two images on the left and right side of the mask

Remove the mask. This is how the card panel should like.

Arrange all the die cut and stamped images on the card panel to plan out the design

Colour all the images with Zig Real Brush Pens

Arrange the coloured images on the card panel popping some of them with 3D foam tape.

Adhere the card panel on green mat layer and then on the card base

This is how the card looks like. One stamp can give a big cluster of flowers.

You can build up a similar card from the many stamp and die flower sets . You can check them out here.

I hope you will create many spring cards. Thanks for being with me.

FLOWER OF THE MONTH-FEBRUARY

Hello !!!!
This is Anita here!!! First let me apologize for not posting last week as I was on vacation and was out of all internet connections. Now I am back, refereshed and recharged and rearing to go with new projects.
CottageCutz has come up with amazing line of stamps and die combos that are too adorable. I have loved each one of them and you too I am sure will like them. You can check these HERE and HERE and HERE

Today I am going to feature one of my favourite floral stamp-Violets-February

This is a beautiful floral stamp with matching die and colouring this is so much fun. I have made two cards here which inspite of being simple are yet very pretty.
So have a look.

To make this, I gathered my stamp and die set, some water colour paper and Zig real brush pens. I stamped the image on a white card stockcut with Memento Black ink and cut it with coordinating die.

Colour the image as shown.

Adhere the image on Cross stitched Oval die with 3d Foam tape.

Cut oval frames using the Cross stitch Oval set. You will need three broad frames and one narrow frame.

Adhere all together and distress the narrow frame as shown.

For the backing , place the oval die cut on a pattern paper and cut out the oval shape. Adhere to the back.

Score a card front on the score board. Add some quick water colour. Adhere the oval panel.

  The finished card

CottageCutz Violets - February (Stamp & Die)

I have another card that I wanted to share with you. It is showing the same Violet flower set. I liked the finished result with both the soft water colour and the bold colour. I have stamped and coloured the image on water colour paper using zig brush pens to colour. The colouring has a washed effect which adds to the beauty of these flowers.

Here I have used CottageCutz Double stitched Rectangle die to create the frames of my card.

I hope you liked my cards. There are many more floral stamp and die sets for each month and all of them are so beautiful. Do try them .
Hope you had a good time here.

Run, run as fast as you can!

Hello fellow crafters! I hope you all had a nice weekend. The weather was gorgeous here in Massachusetts!

I love gingerbread men images, especially the ones made by Peachy Keen! For today's card I used the Cottage Cutz Gingerbread Doll, which comes with 2 Peachy Keen face stamps, and the Doll Accessories 1. I also used the Frosted Cookie die and the word "sweet" from the Sweet Sign die. The hearts on the Ginger-girl are from the frosted cookie die. I just love these little cuties! I hope you do too! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet!!

Oh goodness, I'm loving these adorable little face stamp and die sets. I went a little crazy playing with them as you can see. LOL!! These are just the most fun to work with and the possibilities are limitless. Take a look.

I've added stickles -- who doesn't love stickles?! -- for a little sparkle...

and used the lily pads and cattails from boat and dock die for the grass.

I used these adorable penguins on the inside of this card for the "together" sentiment conveyed on the front.

The peach is one of my favorites from this whole release. I love the size and the face is too cute.

The polka dotted leaves add a sweet touch to the whimsical facial expression.

Here is the little bluebird singing his heart out! What a sweet little birdie he is.

And the frogs! I love the frogs!! In addition, I used the boat and dock die again this time using the cattails along with the lily pads for the froggie's home on the pond.

The bow tie from the penguin die fits Mrs. Frog perfectly....
and stickles add shine to Mr. Frog's crown.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll be inspired to make your own creations with these sweet stamp and die sets!
