Boots and Bling - it's a Cowgirl Thing!

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a quick card to share. The Country Farm die release was perfect for creating this all occasion card which came together very quickly!  There's a brand new release of Slimline dies in the store too, be sure to check them out while they are on sale!

Since I had the cowboy paper in mind for this card, I selected some coordinating card stock colors for all of the die cuts. The die cuts are from the Dog in Cowboy Boot, Country Farm Cows (fence) and the Mail Tag Set.
I wanted to showcase the patterned paper for this card so I kept my card base very simple and adhered the set of tags on top.  The double tags were tied together with some jute twine.
The fence was adhered along the bottom edge of the tag, slightly overlapping it.
The sweet doggy in the boot was affixed on top of the tag with the fence behind.
The fun sentiment was stamped on a hand cut flag.  I tied some more of the jute together and added it to my car as an embellishment.

Holiday Hugs

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing a holiday card with one of the newest releases in the online store.  There are 4 new die releases with a variety of dies for the upcoming holiday season.  The best part is they are all currently on sale!

I started playing with the latest Christmas die release and cut out the pieces from the Snowman Smore die set. The tags are from the Mail Tag Set.
I embossed a piece of kraft card stock with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I selected a red card base for a pop of color.
The embossed card panel was flipped over to the "debossed" side and inked on the edges.  The panel was then layered on the card base.  The finished piece looks more like a graham cracker than the embossed side.
Next, the three tags were tied together with some twine and adhered on my card base.  I offset the tags a bit so each of the colored tags would show just a bit.  The twine brought all of the colors together beautifully!
The Snowman Smore was centered on the top tag fitting perfectly as the focal point of my card.
The sentiment was stamped on a hand cut flag and adhered on the bottom edge of my card.  The sentiment was perfect for the sweet snowman who appears to have his arms out for a holiday hug!

Hello Tags

Hi!

It's Anja here. For today's post I made cute little hello tags. I used different "bugs" dies to make a trio of Spring tags.

For this project I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Busy Bee, Doodle Bugs, Mail Tag Set, Dogwood Branch),
- patterned, colored (black, red, yellow, green, turquoise) and white card stock for die cuts,
- black pen,
- Wink of Stella glitter brush,
- liquid pearls (black and yellow),
- pieces of ribbon,
- embossing mat,
- embossing tool,
- paper glue.

First I cut the tags. I used white cardstock for smaller tags and patterned card stock for bigger tags.

Next I cut hello phrases and the bugs.

I used black pen for the eyes and glitter brush for the wings to add more interest.

Then I cut the branches and the flowers. I cut two bigger and two smaller flowers of each color.

Then I embossed the leaves and the flowers using the embossing tool and mat.

When I had all the pieces ready I assembled the tags together. When flowers were on its place, I added a bit of liquid pearls in the center of each flower. I let it dry.

When the tags were finished I just added the ribbon. I used two types of ribbon for each tag.

Before I go, I just want to invite you to the store to check out all the new dies from the Gardening release. Can't wait to start using them.

Have a nice Sunday and see you again next week.

Fall Card

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a fall themed card to share for my design team post.  After such a hot summer, I'm definitely ready for fall which inspired this card!
I found the perfect fall themed papers in my stash.  The colors are so vibrant and fun.  I especially love the yellow and green mixed with the burgundy!
I used a couple of punches from my stash, one to create a border and the other to punch a scalloped circle for my card.
I used the Flatbed Truck with Accessories, Fall Phrases, Pumpkin Pie & Latte and the Mail Tag Set dies to cut out the pieces for my card.
I created my card base with the patterned papers, added the scalloped border and layered the tag on top of the background.  A small twine bow was used to accent the tag.
Next I placed the Flatbed Truck in the center of my card.  The "fall" sentiment was added to the tag along with the tiny pumpkin on the scalloped circle.

Fantasy Tags

Hi!

It's Anja here. Today I don's have a card for you. Instead of the card I made three tags, that can be used with birthday gift bags for kids. I used cute images from Magical Fantasy Release.

For this project I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Magic Dragon, Unicorn Kitty, Magical Fairy, Mail Tag Set),
- Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Forest Moss, Mustard Seed, Antique Linen) and Oxides (Broken China, Worn Lipstick),
- white cards stock for die cuts,
- stencil - clouds,
- water spritzer,
- heat gun,
- black pen,
- white pen,
- scissors,
- adhesive foam pads,
- paper glue,
- ribbons in different colors.

First I cut and colored the dragon. I used black and white pen for the eyes. I cut the tags along with the images. I cut the biggest of the tree tags.

Second I colored the fairy.

And I colored the kitty last. I used Distress Inks for all tree. And black pen for the eyes.

Next, I colored the tags. I used Distress Oxides for coloring. I used a plastic stencil to color the clouds on the first one. Then I spritzed the tag with water and then dried it with the heat gun.

I colored the second tags with two shades of Oxides. I again used water drops to add a little dimension.

And the last tag I just colored around the edges. And forgot to take a picture. Sorry for that.

And when I had all three images and tags ready, I used glue and adhesive foam pads to adhere the images on the tags. And the last thing I did was putting the ribbons on the tags. I used pieces of ribbon from my stash. And my fantasy tags were done.

That's all from me for today. Sending greetings from Amsterdam :)

See you again next week.

Anja Z.
