Howdy Friend!
Happy Friday! It's Jeanne posting to day with a great thinking of you card featuring the Dog in Cowboy Boot die from the new Country Farm release! This release features 16 adorable dies with a great variety of farm images. Everything from tractors to cows to chickens! Be sure to check them all out in the online store.
Today's card went fast thanks to a sketch from Splitcoaststampers. To accommodate the boot I rotated the sketch 90 degrees.
I knew I had some bandana designer paper and then I found this paisley embossing folder in my stash. It coordinates beautifully! To start I cut the dog from white cardstock and used Distress Oxide ins to color him.
For my sentiment I cut two ovals using the second largest of the Stitched Scallop Ovals and the third largest of the Stitched Ovals. After stamping the sentiment I layered these; the blue scallops just peek out from underneath.
The trickiest part of this card was the angle. I cut a base panel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches from a denim color and then two panels 4 x 5 1/4 inches from white and the DP. I embossed the white with the paisley folder.
To get my angle I trimmed the bandana panel to 3 x 5 1/4 and marked half way up the long side at 2 3/4 inches.I used my paper trimmer to cut a line from the lower left corner to the pencil mark giving me the angle. I assembled my panel pieces. To finish the card I glued down the oval and used foam dots to pop up the pooch! Don't forget to check out this adorable release. It's on sale for a limited time!Products used:

Hay Chickie
Hello! This is Sukie and I have a card to share featuring the new Country Farm die release! This release has the most adorable die sets for creating those all occasion cards!
I cut out the sweet Cowgirl Chick, the Nested Stitched Scallop Oval and Oval using card stock. Everything was inked on the edges to add some depth and dimension.I found the most adorable paper in my stash which was layered on some kraft card stock. The double ovals were layered on top of my card base. The cowgirl chick was nestled inside of the oval die cuts as the focal point of my card. I added some glossy accents to her eyes for a glassy eyed look. The fun sentiment was stamped in brown ink for a rustic look. I hand cut the sentiment tag and inked it on the edges.Wednesday, May 19, 2021
Celebrating Your Love
Hello! This is Sukie and today I have a bridal shower card to share for my design team day. With wedding season upon us, I went for a simple but elegant card to celebrate the special occasion.
The new Nested Rectangles Slimline was used to cut out the floral rectangle for my card base. I also used the Nested Stitched Scallop Oval Set for the white oval and the umbrella is from the Spring Showers Buddies. I added a few pearls to the umbrella to give it bridal look.Wednesday, February 17, 2021
I Wheelie Love You!
Hello! This is Sukie and today I have a whimsical card to share for my design team post. It's been an absolute treat creating with the latest Circus die release which lend themselves to bright and cheery creations! Head on over to the store to catch these die sets and many others on sale for President's Day!
For my card, I used the Pedaling Puppy, the Oval Set and the Nested Stitched Scallop Oval Set. All of the pieces were cut from card stock. My card base was created using a couple of different patterns which seemed to work together. I'm loving the festive pinwheel design.
Once I layered my patterned papers on an A2 sized card, I affixed the 2 scallop die cuts in a nested style. The pop of red underneath the white oval brought all of the background colors together beautifully!
