Baby Sleeping on Moon

Hello CottageCutz friends!

Kris here to share a sweet baby card with you today featuring Baby Sleeping on Moon die.

This card came together very quickly with some cute papers and dies ☺

I die cut the white circle for the focal image using the Double Stitched Circle set.  I then sponged some clouds using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and spattered some RV81 Copic ink using a small paintbrush.

I die cut a peach mat using the largest of the Nested Stitched Doily Set

I die cut the Baby Sleeping on Moon and the Expressions Baby dies from white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

My card base is a landscape A2 card.  I cut some layers from the Bundle of Joy papers (Doodlebug Designs) and layered onto card front.  I then popped up the main focal circle onto card front with foam tape.

Sweet li'l baby card

Thanks for looking!!  I hope you're inspired to get crafty with your favorite CottageCutz dies!

The card for the Newborn baby

Hi, Yuliya here!)
Today I want to share with you little tutorial how to make a sweet  Newborn baby card. I use Baby Sleeping on Moon

Let's start!
For the card, I prepared a template in the form of a cloud. I use the chipboard. The size of the card can be adjusted by your preferences. My card have a size 6,4" * 4,4"
 Cut out
Once you have created a template in the shape of an cloud you will need to trace around it 2 times on your choice of patterned paper.
 The base cards of  cardstock.
I cut it out 3 times (1x from cardstock and 2x from patterned paper).
Note! The details of the selected paper is smaller than the parts from cardstock
Glue the details (blue and pink) to the cardstock
 Let it dry
Great! Our card is ready for the next step
Prepare some die-cuts
I use the glue ZIG memory system
How about  flowers?
All parts were glued to each other and decorated. Add some volume with the help of glue tape
So cute, isn't it?)
Details. You can also add some little enamel dots.
I hope you enjoyed this card

Other Supplies: cardstock,  scissors, Sizzix machine,  pencil, glue ZIG memory system and glue UHU creativ, flowers, enamel dots

Balloons and Clouds

Hi, Vladka here!

The card I did today has the focus on the right side. It was inspired by my balloons and clouds dies. I also used Distress Inks along with my dies.

First I prepared my white card base and additional white cardstock piece of paper (approximately 4.25x5.5 inches tall).

I added some Peacock Feather Distress ink on my acrylic block and spritzed some water on it. I then took a piece of plastic acetate and gently pressed it against the block to pick up some of the ink. I took that inked up plastic and then pressed it to my paper to transfer the ink to the paper to get a splotchy look. Sometimes this technique is also called "smooshing".

While I was waiting for it to dry, I cut my die pieces. I used white cardstock to cut my Balloons, Clouds and Gift TagTopper. I used coordinating Distress Inks to color the balloons.

I usually cut off any parts of the card that over hang outside the cardbase but this time I decided to let the balloons stay in once piece. This looks more like they are flying up in the sky! :)
I glued everything together with liquid glue and foam squares. At the end I just added Gift Tag on the left side of the card and my card was finished.

I hope this gives you some idea how you can use beautiful dies from birthday release and combine them with some old one which are in your stash maybe.
Have fun creating!

Sweet dreams little Baby

Hi, all! Vladka here.

Today I have a little bit bigger card for you. Size is A5 and gives you a lot of space also inside, where it is possible to add pocket for money or gift card and for good wishes to new born baby.

I just can´t stop using dies from Baby release, they are so cute and give you so many opportunity. On this card I used two of them: Baby Lamb and Baby Sleeping on Moon. Die cuts are colored with Distress Inks. Sentiment is in Slovenian language and can be translated also as: “Sweet dreams little Baby”.

I wish you all sweet dreams!
