Crazy In Love

Hi everyone!

This is Anja again. Valentine's day is in a few days. I have one more Valentine's card for you today, before I move on Easter and Spring themed cards. This time I used another holiday die. I like dies that can be used on different occasions. This car die is definitely one of those.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Holiday Car, Phrase Love),
- Distress Inks (Black Soot, Fired Brick),
- craft paper for card base (two 15x15 cm squares),
- red, black and white card stock for die cuts,
- Versafine Onyx black ink pad,
- Versamark embossing ink pad,
- clear embossing powder,
- alphabet stamps,
- background stencil,
- silver pigment ink,
- white pigment ink,
- hole punch,
- split pin,
- blue and yellow brush pen,
- scissors,
- Glossy accents,
- heat gun,
- paper glue.

First I cut and colored the car. This time I used colored card stock and just added a bit of Distress Ink around the edges. I used silver pigment ink for metal parts of the car. I colored the headlights with brush pens.

I cut two rectangles from craft card stock and colored them, using stencil and white and red ink.

First I used white pigment ink and then added the red. I colored the inside i the same way.

Then I stamped the sentiment, using alphabet stamps and black ink.

I decided to distress the edge of the paper. I used the scissors to do it.

Afterward I decided I wanted the glass marks to look more realistic. That's why I used embossing ink and powder to make them look "wet". I did this only on the front side of the card.

I made holes on the both squares and put in a split pin for the card to slide.

Then I just glued the car and the love phrase on the front and in the inside of the card. I used Glossy Accents for the windows and the lights of the car.

This all from me for today. Have a nice Sunday and don't forget to check the store for the latest dies.

Puppy Love

Hi!

It's Anja here. I hope you had nice holidays. I had a few days off and managed to get some rest before I started working again on Wednesday. I like to start new year fresh so this weekend I'm working on my craft room. I bought some new shelves and now I'm trying to sort all my supplies and organize them again. I decided to put some stuff away because I'm not using it anymore. Hope I can finish everything today.

For my Sunday post I made a Valentine's card and a matching envelope. I used the Puppy die, which is now available in the store for a great price.

For the card and envelope I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Puppy w/ Ribbon, Heartbeats, Phrase Love, Circle Set),
- Distress inks (Barn Door, Pumice Stone),
- white card base (15x 10,5 cm),
- white envelope (16x 11 cm),
- red paper (10x 15 cm and 16x 7cm),
- patterned paper (9,2 x 15 cm and 15x 6,2 cm),
- red, grey, black and white card stock for die cuts,
- adhesive foam pads,
- paper glue,
- white pen.

I used colored card stock to cut all the pieces. I added some grey around the edges of the puppy.

I die cut love phrase from red card stock. I cut off the part of letter "l" to match the ribbon.

I die cut two smaller hearts with the Heartbeat die and one larger one. I used Barn Door Distress Ink to color the edges of the hearts.

I die cut two circles (the second and the third largest from the set.

I used pattern and red paper for the background. I only had 15 cm wide pattern paper, so I cut it in to and mask it with the circle.

When I had everything cut and colored I glued it together. And this is the finished project. Card and the decorated envelope. I used white pen to finish the Puppy's eyes and the heart.

Have a nice Sunday!

Bee cards

Hi!

It's Anja here. I played with bees today. I combined new phrases with this beautiful beehives die and made two cards. One can be used as a valentines card or even a little different wedding card. And the other can be sent to a friend on different occasions. I love this word games that can be done in English :)

For these two cards I used:
- Cottage Cutz Dies (BeehivesBaby Doll Girl Clothes, Sweet Phrase, Happy Phrase, Love Phrase),
- Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Black Soot),
- Distress Oxides (Broken China, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade),
- white card base (21 x 10 cm and 12,5 X 12,5 cm),
- watercolor paper (20,5 x 9,5 cm and 12 x 12 cm),
- white card stock for die cuts,
- white foam,

- glossy accenst,
- adhesive foam pads,
- glue,

- heat gun.

I started with die cutting first. Then I colored and glued all the parts for the bees and beehives together. I used Distress Inks for the beehives and Distress Oxides for the bees.

I made the background with smooshing technique. I used Distress Oxide Broken China and tapped it on some acetate foil. Then I sprayed water over it and smooshed it over the watercolor paper. I dried it with heat gun.

Then I die cut the phrases. I cut them twice. First from white card stock and then from white foam.

I colored the phrases using a bit of an ombre effect and glued the paper on top of the foam.

I also die cut a few hearts to add as embellishments on one of the cards. I colored them in the same way as the phrases. I put a bit of glossy accents on top of them.

And then I just glued all parts on the white card stocks. I used adhesive glue pads for the bees.
